#Kuwait #Inflation Rate Steady at 3.8% in November (26 Dec 2023)

The annual inflation rate in Kuwait remained stable at 3.8% year-on-year in November 2023, the same as in the previous month.

Price growth was steady for restaurant & hotels (at 3.5%), housing services (at 3.1%), communication (at 3.1%), transportation (at 3%), health (2.4%) and education (at 0.7%). On the other hand, inflation accelerated slightly for furnishing equipment & household maintenance (3% vs 2.8%).

Additionally, food inflation experienced a marginal uptick, reaching 5.8% in November compared to the 5.7% recorded in October. Every month, consumer prices rose by 0.2%, following a 0.4% gain in the prior month.
